Warranty & Return Policy
What the QLI Limited Warranty covers, how to register and file a claim, and how returns and cancellations work.
Last updated: October 1, 2026
01Warranty Period
The QLI Limited Warranty starts on the invoice date from QLI or the authorized QLI dealer you purchased from.
| Component | Parts coverage | Labor coverage (registered equipment) |
| Frames and welds | 10 years | Year 1 |
| Moving parts, pulleys, and cables | 3 years | Year 1 |
| Upholstery, pads, and grips | 1 year | Year 1 |
02Registration
Register your equipment within 15 days of installation at qlifitnessequipment.com/warranty. Registration within 15 days activates year 1 labor coverage. Equipment registered late, or not registered, keeps parts coverage from the invoice date but has no labor coverage. Claims on unregistered equipment require proof of purchase, serial numbers, and the installation date.
03What the Warranty Covers
The warranty covers replacement of parts that QLI determines are defective in materials or workmanship under normal use. Worn-out items and consumables are not covered. During year 1, QLI ships replacement parts by standard ground freight at no charge. After year 1, freight on replacement parts is the owner’s responsibility.
04Labor
In year 1, covered labor on registered equipment is performed by QLI technicians within our Southern California service area. Outside that area, labor is performed by a technician authorized by QLI. Work must be approved in writing by QLI before it starts. QLI reimburses approved labor up to $60 per technician hour. After year 1, labor, travel, and service call charges are the owner’s responsibility.
05How to File a Claim
Submit the Warranty and Repair Request form at qlifitnessequipment.com/warranty-repair-request with the product, serial number, invoice number, a description of the issue, and photos or video. Our service team typically responds within 24 to 48 hours. Freight damage is not a warranty claim. Report it within 48 hours of delivery as described in our Shipping Policy.
06Exclusions
Warranty coverage does not apply, and is void, in the following cases:
- Failure to follow the instruction manual
- Use outside product specifications
- Inadequate maintenance and inspection
- Improper storage, installation, or use, including failure to level and anchor equipment where specified
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Use of non-genuine or aftermarket parts
- Repairs performed by anyone not authorized by QLI
- Cosmetic wear, rust from environmental exposure, and damage from accidents, abuse, or freight
07Returns and Cancellations
QLI equipment is commercial grade and built to order or allocated from limited stock, so returns and cancellations are accepted only under the terms below.
- Every cancellation or return requires a completed QLI Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form and written approval from QLI. Products returned without an approved RMA will be refused.
- All approved cancellations and returns of non-defective product are subject to a 20% restocking fee, including orders that have not yet shipped. Freight, handling, and related costs are charged in addition to the fee or are the customer’s responsibility.
- Returned products must be unused, in original condition, and in the original box or crate.
- Custom, made-to-order, and container orders cannot be cancelled once factory production begins and cannot be returned.
- Shipments refused without prior written authorization are subject to the 20% restocking fee plus round-trip freight.
- Returns due to a manufacturer defect covered by warranty are not subject to the restocking fee, and QLI pays return freight.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned product is received and inspected.
